Adventures in Rummaging Part One

Today was a gorgeous day so perfect for our first rummaging adventure of the year. Sunny & 70 we drove all over Eau Claire to dozens of yard sales. There was a ton surprisingly for a Thursday. What a pleasant surprise. Come and see what I found!
Other than the tons of vinyl I brought today, I found some odds & ends. A vintage ceramic orange wall hanging for the kitchen, and a Hello Kitty draw string pouch.
I found some ole' patches I absolutely love. They are so silly and kitschy. I got a Ziploc bag with about 9 patches for only 50 cents! I haven't decided what to do with these patches, but one might make it to my purse.
Here is the first record I found at the first sale I found too. Thee very best of Leslie Gore. I like her more obscure hits. I can't stand "It's My Party".
This one was a guilty pleasure. Tom Jones is just absolutely hilarious. I couldn't resist.
Chet Atkins! Really good/tacky instrumental covers of 1950's teen hits. Can't go wrong. I really like "I Got A Woman".
This was THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY! Rare Cher all the way! I listened to it right away and "Dream Baby" was on there! What a pleasant surprise!
I love almost everything Duane Eddy has done too. One dollar for this one was a steal.
I only got this one A. because it was 50 cents, and B. I love Del Shannon! This is a great mixture of bands.
And lastly, I found yet another Hank Williams greatest hits albums. I have about three of these, and every song is great. Just classic recordings. I love them all!

Well those are my recent rummaged goods! This summer is gonna be so great. So much more sales to visit!
Have a Good Weekend! Angela.

Leftovers

I've been working on a lot of little project besides enjoying the nice weather.  From sewing to home improvement I've been dabbling my friends. Come and See!!
A present for you! A vintage floral Facebook Timeline or...
This free seamless version of the same! Have at it!
I was inspired from this print from a vintage vest someone found online. I love the colors and the kitschy flowers!
Summer? Are you coming? This is a shot from last week and these same buds are fully in bloom today! Let the allergies begin.
There has been tons of finally playing outdoors. There is Beans on Mothers Day at the playground in Voyager Village.
I made a bag last week that I absolutely love. I've been using it for work, library books and groceries. Everything! So bright and happy I plan on making about a dozen more of these.
I found the inspiration for this flower applique from this image I saw in the latest Lilla Rogers book "I Just Like To Make Things".
I thought those sunflowers were so precious!
Well there are my miss-mash of leftovers.
Adios. Angela.
